New Agreement Adds Music Streaming Metrics from Fortnite Jam Tracks to Luminate’s Industry-Leading Music Data Platform CONNECT

LOS ANGELES, CA – APRIL 30, 2025 – Today, Luminate, the entertainment industry’s most trusted data partner, and Epic Games, a leading interactive entertainment company, announced a new partnership to add music streaming data from Fortnite’s Jam Tracks to Luminate’s data platform, Connect. Fortnite Jam Tracks will now be part of the “Interactive On-Demand” streaming metrics on Luminate’s database. 

Games like Fortnite are playing an increasingly important role in how people discover, consume and stream music off-platform. According to Luminate’s 2024 mid-year report, select tracks included in Fortnite Festival announcements showed an average lift of 8.7% in on-demand audio streaming the day after the announcement compared to the day before. Luminate’s 2024 Year-End Music Report further underscored the close connection between gaming and music consumption. The report showed streaming upticks for Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Ice Spice and Juice WRLD as a result of their participation in Epic Games’ Fortnite Remix, a month-long music campaign in November 2024.
